Woman with curly hair sitting on a stool, wearing a fuzzy sweater and a silky skirt, with one foot resting on a windowsill and a purple flower tied around her ankle.

Are we dancing for a living or are we living to dance?

Poetic words that are resounding in my consciousness.

Fern called me.

It had been months since we’d been in touch.

She said ‘You have to be happy with what you’re doing everyday.’

She was simply confident and clear.

And I knew that she carried this message for me from Hashem/ GD.

I sat in meditation

I followed happiness

And I ended up here

Aligned with my souls purpose

Pulsing with vitality

This is what it means to BE alive

It’s called GrassRoots

Your local spot for flowers and wellness

As you pass through the doorway

Your body relaxes into the spell of receiving

The space feels like a warm invitation

To let go and savor

A stunning gift of this moment

That comes as a most pleasant surprise

Sit and sip some loose leaf tea

Buy a bright scented candle and a bud vase filled with fresh cut flowers

Take in the fresh air generously offered by the plants all around you

And notice the beautiful curated art collection for sale on the walls

Sense the feeling of gratitude in your heart

And write it on the wall

Choose an essential oil that restores balance

Like this magical oasis amidst the urban jungle of Brooklyn.

Look around, and take it all in

The intentional design,

Display of sweet gestures

Somehow you feel at home

 Only it’s way prettier

You buy a gift for your sister, even though you didn’t plan to

And text a friend who you want to come back here with

Every item on the shelf tells a story of woman who leaned into following her art.

An energetic expression of collaborative dreams manifested.

It’s eclectic, it’s memorable, and it’s coming this spring!!

There’s is a rich schedule of ways to indulge

Through art,

writing,

 Creative classes and book clubs

Or simply to come to sit quietly

Listening to the gentle blend of music and the birds outside

And after you drank up all it has to offer You walk back into your day

Refreshed, inspired And with flowers in your hand
